PARA TU MEDITACIÓN...
"...Y leyó en el libro delante de la plaza
que está delante de la puerta de las Aguas,
desde el alba hasta el mediodía, en presencia
de hombres y mujeres y de todos los que
podían entender; y los oídos de todo el pueblo
estaban atentos al libro de la ley.
Abrió, pues, Esdras el libro a ojos de todo
el pueblo, porque estaba más alto que
todo el pueblo; y cuando lo abrió, todo el
pueblo estuvo atento. Bendijo entonces
Esdras a Jehová, Dios grande.
Y todo el pueblo respondió: !!Amén! !!Amén!
alzando sus manos; y se humillaron
y adoraron a Jehová inclinados a tierra.
Nehemías 8:3,5-6
Cada día es más necesario tomar en cuenta la palabra de Dios como guía central en todo lo que hacemos. Muchas veces fallamos en darle la atención debida a esta demanda Bíblica, otras veces intentamos tomar en consideración sus instrucciones pero fallamos en su aplicación práctica y en otras ocasiones simplemente ignoramos las instrucciones de Dios plasmada en su palabra. Como seguidores de Cristo, estamos llamados a una constante renovación, madurez y crecimiento espiritual que nos habilite atender y entender con mayor eficacia las órdenes divinas. deberíamos olvidar que somos nosotros, y solamente nosotros los beneficiados de vivir bajo la influencia de Dios plasmada en su palabra. Al decidir voluntariamente tomar en cuenta lo que Dios nos dice, es necesario aplicar efectivamente el contenido de su enseñanza a diario. Para el efecto, cada vez que “escuchamos su voz” deberíamos poner todo nuestro potencial de atención, concentración, intensidady todo esfuerzo que nos asista para que lo escuchado y aprendido podamos no solamente “atesorarlo” en nuestros corazones, sino aplicarlo en la vida diaria. Las promesas que hacemos hoy al Señor es una forma de vivir un día mas de victoria poniendo en practica lo que Él nos manda.

“He read it aloud
from daybreak till noon
as he faced the square before the Water Gate
in the presence of the men, women and
others who could understand. And all the
people listened attentively to the Book of the
Law.
Ezra opened the book. All the people could
see him because he was standing above them;
and as he opened it, the people all stood up.
Ezra praised the LORD, the great God;
and all the people lifted their hands and
responded, "Amen! Amen!" Then they bowed
down and worshiped the LORD with their
faces to the ground.
Nehemiah 8:3-6
It is necessary to take into consideration the
word of God daily, as basis for everything that
we do. Many times we fail to give adequate
attention to this Biblical demand; other times
we try to take into consideration the
instructions but we fail in its practical
application and in many other occasions we
simply ignore God’s instructions that were
created in His word. As followers of Christ, we
are called to a constant restoration, maturity,
and spiritual growth that prepare us to tend to
and understand divine orders more effectively.
We should not forget that we and only we are the
only ones who benefit from living under the
influence of God created through His word. When
voluntarily deciding to take into account what
God tells us, it is necessary to effectively
apply the content of His teaching daily.
Furthermore, whenever “we hear His voice”, we
should pay close attention, concentration,
intensity and all effort that we can so that
what we have heard and learned not only will we
“store it” in our hearts, but also apply it in
our daily lives. The promises we make to the
Lord today is a way of living one more day of
victory putting into practice His commands.
