A Tu Mamá: ¡Lo Mejor!
“Sus hijos y su esposo la alaban
y le dicen: “Mujeres buenas hay muchas,
pero tú eres la mejor de todas.”
Proverbios 31:28-29 VP
En este Día de la Madre, cuán justo, bueno y honroso es que,
aunque sea durante un día en el año, pensemos de un modo
especial en ella.
La madre es digna de lo mejor de parte de sus hijos. Ella
conoce a fondo las inquietudes, las tristezas, la alegría y
los triunfos de cada uno de sus hijos y está lista para
alentarlos en la lucha por la existencia, para consolarlos
con ternura cuando el fracaso los abate o los aflige. Aún
ella esta lista para gozarse con ellos en los momentos de
victorias y progresos que la vida les traiga.
¡Madre! ¡Cuánto encierra esta palabra! ¿Quién, al pronunciar
su nombre, no siente vibrar las cuerdas más íntimas del ser?
Cuando estamos lejos de ella: ¡Cuánto anhelamos su cercanía,
su mirada cariñosa y sus caricias! Sentimos que solo ella “nos
comprende” y lo encierra todo....
Nada hay difícil para una madre. Ella posee el secreto de
conseguirlo todo para el bienestar de sus hijos; descubre
aún las oportunidades más insospechadas para ellos y riega
con sus lágrimas amorosas y tiernas, el sendero de los que
como hijos, son “pedazos” de su mismo corazón. Cuantas
súplicas y ruegos a Dios a favor de sus hijos estan regadas
de sus oraciones en ocasiones como “gemidos” delante del
Señor.
Cómo no unirnos al Sabio para repetir sus maravillosas
palabras: “Mujeres buenas hay muchas, pero tú eres la mejor
de todas.”

For Your Mother: The Best!
“Her children stand and
bless her.
Her husband praises her:
“There are many virtuous and capable women
in the world, but you surpass them all!”
Proverbs 31:28 - 29 NLT
On this Mother’s Day, how good and how just and
honorable is that, at least during one day of
the year, we think in a special way about her.
The mother is worthy of the best on behalf of
her children. She knows deeply the restlessness,
the sadness’s, the joy and the triumphs of each
one of her children and she is ready to
encourage them in the fight of existence, to
console them tenderly when failure afflicts or
knocks them down. Still she is ready to rejoice
with them in moments of victories and progress
that life brings them.
Mother! How much this word encloses! Who, when
pronouncing her name, does it not vibrate the
most intimate cords of our being? When we are
far from her, we yearn so much for her nearness,
her affectionate expression and her caresses! We
feel that she is the only one that “understands
us” and encompasses everything….
There is nothing difficult for a mother. She has
the secret to obtain everything for the
well-being of her children; she discovers the
most unsuspected opportunities for them and sows
with her loving tender tears, the path of which
as her children, are “pieces” of her own heart.
How many pleas and requests to God in favor of
her children are poured in her prayers as
“clamors” before the Lord.
How can we not join the Wise one to repeat His
wonderful words: “There are many virtuous and
capable women in the world, but you surpass them
all”.
